This fluffy ball - actually Angora rabbit, which is obtained from a soft and silky wool. Angora rabbit - one of the oldest types of domestic rabbit, which originated from Turkey.
The French say that Angora rabbits were first registered in France in 1765. Anyway, it was the French who saw commercial opportunities Angora wool and started to produce this type of wool into yarn. In addition to their commercial use, rabbits have become popular pets in France and other parts of Europe by the end of the century.

There are five breeds of Angora rabbits. English breed is commonly used as pets because of its cute, fluffy appearance.
